2. Measure plasma testosterone luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) concentration.
Interpretations of LH and FSH constitution.
a. Low testosterone and raised LH concentrations indicate leydig cell failure.
b. A low testosterone with low LH concentrations suggest hypothalamic or pituitary disease.
c. Erase concentration of FSH usually with oligospermia indicates failure of seminiferous tubules. Testosterone concentrations may be normal.
d. A low FSH level with oligospermia is suggestive of pituitary or hypothalamic disease.
3. Measure plasma prolactin level
